Research Strength
Pulike’s Technology R&D Center comprises research institutes for animal vaccines, bioengineering, and veterinary pharmaceuticals, as well as technical management departments such as the Research Management Department and the Intellectual Property Department. It is equipped with a comprehensive support system that includes laboratory research, pilot-scale and scale-up production studies, animal experimentation, and quality‑control research. The innovation platforms operated under the company’s Technology R&D Center include: the National Veterinary Pharmaceutical Engineering Technology Research Center, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology; an enterprise technology center jointly recognized by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and other relevant ministries; the Joint Engineering Laboratory for the Development of Diagnostic Reagents and Vaccines for Animal Infectious Diseases, established with approval from the National Development and Reform Commission; a postdoctoral research workstation authorized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security; and the Henan Provincial Academician Workstation for Veterinary Pharmaceutical Development, approved by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
While steadfastly pursuing independent innovation based on the aforementioned innovation platforms, the company places great emphasis on and actively advances integrated innovation. It has established extensive industry–university–research collaborations with numerous renowned institutions, including the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center, and China Agricultural University. The R&D center closely monitors cutting-edge scientific and technological developments, remains market‑driven, and identifies both “gaps” in industry‑specific technologies and products and “points of convergence” between national industrial policies and actual market needs. It is dedicated to the research and development of veterinary biologics, chemical pharmaceuticals, advanced formulations, and traditional Chinese veterinary medicines, tackling common challenges and critical core technologies that underpin the growth of China’s veterinary pharmaceutical sector. By strengthening its capabilities in engineering, industrialization, and open‑access services, the company provides robust technical support to elevate the overall technological advancement of the veterinary pharmaceutical industry and to promote the healthy development of China’s animal husbandry.
