With the widespread adoption of automated and smart equipment in farms, the professional requirements for workers are steadily rising, and job roles have become increasingly specialized. Vaccination is a critical measure for ensuring farm biosecurity and controlling infectious diseases. Currently, vaccination is carried out by dedicated immunization teams, and the accuracy of procedures and the quality of immunization are key factors that significantly impact farm performance.
In recent years, as market demand for immunization has continued to grow, grassroots immunization teams have emerged. However, many of these teams currently exhibit uneven levels of professional expertise, which can lead to numerous issues during vaccination procedures and pose significant biosecurity risks to livestock farms.
In April 2018, Huizhong Bio conducted immunization‑training sessions for Hunan Qunyi Poultry Development Co., Ltd.
Two existing issues with the current immunity team.
1. Weak biosecurity awareness: Frequent visits to different livestock farms, coupled with insufficient attention to the disinfection of clothing, equipment, and vehicles, pose significant biosecurity risks and can lead to the widespread transmission of diseases.
2. Low operational proficiency, inaccurate injection sites, injection-site infections, animal mortality, slow growth, significant immune stress, missed vaccinations, and inaccurate dosing—all contribute to poor immunization outcomes, resulting in low and uneven antibody levels and inadequate protection that fails to deliver the intended vaccine efficacy.
To ensure the safety of livestock farms, it is essential to comprehensively enhance both the risk awareness and professional operational skills of vaccination personnel. In recent years, Huizhong Bio has collaborated with large-scale farming enterprises and other strategic partners to provide specialized training for vaccination teams, thereby strengthening biosecurity awareness and improving immunization techniques. By implementing the “One Focus”—emphasizing biosecurity—and the “Six Sevens of Accuracy”—ensuring accuracy in transportation and storage, vaccine retrieval, quantity, administration method, dosage, injection site, and record-keeping—the company has achieved a 100% vaccination coverage rate and significantly boosted protection rates, thus safeguarding the safety of large-scale livestock operations.
In July 2018, Huizhong Bio conducted immunization skills training for Hebei’s “Zhou’s Chick Farm.”
In February 2019, Huizhong Bio conducted training in Zhongxiang, Hubei, to “build a star immunization team.”
