On December 11, the “Third Anniversary of Yuanshi Hunan’s Listing and the Third Lucky Pig Farmer Conference,” hosted by Luoyang Huizhong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., was grandly held in Changsha, Hunan Province. Over 130 representatives from pig farms across Hunan, along with partners and expert scholars, attended this significant event. The conference was chaired by Yin Lifan, General Manager of Hunan Huiyong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and was graced by company leaders including Wang Bingfei, Deputy General Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology, and Gu Shuai, Technical Director of Huizhong Biotechnology’s Swine Vaccine Division. At the opening of the conference, Wang Bingfei, Deputy General Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology, presented a report on the company’s corporate culture and development strategy. He stated, “As a cutting-edge enterprise specializing in veterinary vaccine research and development, Huizhong Biotechnology has steadily increased its investment in new product R&D, consistently ranking among the top biopharmaceutical companies and earning the industry nickname ‘the Huawei of animal health.’ In today’s context, where dual epidemics have become the norm and hog prices remain highly volatile, combined vaccination has emerged as a prevailing trend in both vaccine development and widespread application. Following the launch of its Yuanshi bivalent inactivated vaccine in 2018, Huizhong further pioneered the Yuanshi 3.0 solution—a novel approach combining diluted classical swine fever vaccine with Yuanshi immunization. Additionally, the company introduced live and inactivated vaccines targeting the latest circulating variant strains, providing practical solutions and effective tools for controlling diarrhea outbreaks in large-scale pig farms. In the combined vaccine market, Huizhong already holds an overwhelming industry advantage, and moving forward, it plans to expand into pet and specialized livestock vaccines.” Mr. Wang’s remarks reinforced the confidence of partners and farm representatives in the company’s future prospects. ▲ Wang Bingfei, Deputy General Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology, delivers a speech. Professor Yu Xinglong, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Animal Medicine, Hunan Agricultural University, provided a detailed report on evaluating the current efficacy of vaccines against porcine epidemic diarrhea and establishing appropriate assessment methods. Professor Yu emphasized, “Establishing a systematic evaluation framework for porcine epidemic diarrhea immunity in large-scale pig farms is crucial for assessing herd immune responses and issuing early warnings about disease risk. Post‑vaccination, the effectiveness of porcine epidemic diarrhea vaccines can be evaluated by measuring IgA and neutralizing antibodies in colostrum. Moreover, detecting IgG levels in serum also offers valuable insights into vaccine efficacy, thereby enriching the overall assessment system for porcine epidemic diarrhea control.” ▲ Professor Yu Xinglong, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Animal Medicine, Hunan Agricultural University, shares technical expertise. Gu Shuai, Technical Director of Huizhong Biotechnology’s Swine Vaccine Division, gave a comprehensive overview of the company’s current strategies and products for preventing and controlling porcine epidemic diarrhea. He noted, “Huizhong’s ‘live-plus-inactivated’ dual‑vaccine regimen targeting both gastric and intestinal pathogens has been widely recognized and adopted by numerous pig farming groups. Extensive clinical trials have conclusively demonstrated that this ‘live-plus-inactivated’ approach effectively protects against attacks by variant strains while also offering cross‑protection against classic strains—making it a scientifically sound and broadly accepted immunization protocol that provides an efficient tool and solution for managing porcine epidemic diarrhea today.” ▲ Gu Shuai, Technical Director of Huizhong Biotechnology’s Swine Vaccine Division, presents technical insights. Shi Ang, Technical Service Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology’s Swine Vaccine Division, introduced the company’s “Yuanshi 3.0 Combined Immunization Enhancement Plan.” He explained, “Under mounting pressure to control emerging diseases, combined vaccination of different types of vaccines represents the future direction of disease prevention. Through sustained research efforts and extensive clinical trials, Huizhong has resolved longstanding challenges in producing its Yuanshi bivalent inactivated vaccine—specifically, the inability to mix antigens for Porcine Circovirus Type 2 and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae without compromising efficacy due to antigen interference. As a result, Huizhong became the first in China to launch a water‑based adjuvant formulation for this bivalent vaccine and subsequently innovatively developed the Yuanshi 3.0 combined immunization plan, which dilutes classical swine fever vaccine to enhance protective effects. This groundbreaking approach provides pig farmers with a scientifically sound, synergistic solution for integrated vaccination.” ▲ Shi Ang, Technical Service Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology’s Swine Vaccine Division, shares technical details. In closing, Yin Lifan, General Manager of Hunan Huiyong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., delivered the farewell address, expressing gratitude for the support of all partners and reaffirming Huizhong Biotechnology’s commitment to delivering the most effective products and highest‑quality services.

More than 130 attendees, including pig farm representatives, partners, and experts and scholars from across Hunan, gathered to witness this momentous event. The conference was chaired by Yin Lifan, General Manager of Hunan Huiyong Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and was attended by company leaders such as Wang Bingfei, Deputy General Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology, and Gu Shuai, Technical Director of the Swine Seedling Division.

At the outset of the meeting, Wang Bingfei, Deputy General Manager of Huizhong Biotechnology, presented a report on the company’s corporate culture and development strategy. Mr. Wang stated: “As a cutting-edge developer of veterinary vaccines, Huizhong Biotechnology has steadily increased its R&D investment in new products year after year, consistently ranking among the top biopharmaceutical companies and earning the industry nickname ‘the Huawei of the animal health sector.’ In the current context, where dual epidemics have become the new normal, hog prices are experiencing significant volatility, and combined vaccination has emerged as a prevailing trend in vaccine research, development, and deployment. Following the launch of its bivalent inactivated vaccine against porcine circovirus and swine dysentery in 2018, Huizhong introduced an innovative ‘Circovirus–Dysentery Combined Immunization 3.0’ approach. Furthermore, the company has brought to market both live and inactivated vaccines targeting the latest circulating variant strains of diarrhea, providing practical solutions and effective tools for large-scale pig farms to control this disease. In the combined‑vaccine segment, Huizhong already holds a clear industry leadership position. Looking ahead, Huizhong plans to expand into vaccines for pets and specialized livestock.” Mr. Wang’s remarks reinforced the confidence of our partners and pig farm representatives in the company’s future prospects.
